Rod Jacobs - Rod has played Dixieland since picking up the drumsticks. In his late teens he was drawn to New Orleans to experience the birthplace of jazz. Soon after arriving (ie, no money) he joined the Navy. After 4 years as a navy musician and 4 years in college, he returned to life on the high seas sailing around the world with the Guy Lombardo Orchestra.

Lew Buckley - As conductor and trumpet soloist of the US Coast Guard Band for over 20 years Lew knows how to make the notes on a page come alive. He continues conducting bands in The Villages while playing Dixieland, a style near and dear to his heart that he’s loved for over 50 years.

Dan Howard - First piano, then trumpet and finally tuba, Dan has played in many venues and styles of music but Dixieland helped put him through college. After college he toured the country, culminating with an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. After coming to The Villages he's become a valued tuba player at Walt Disney World.

Dave Flanigan - Much in demand playing saxophone, clarinet or the piano, Dave stays busy in The Villages performing in modern jazz ensembles, big bands and pit orchestras. In his spare time he enjoys choral singing.

Dodie Fisher - As a teenager she felt moved to join an all girl band “The Nineteenth Amendment” and continues singing in various venues in and around The Villages including The Orange Blossum Opry, villages club functions, The Savoys Danceband and her church. She enjoys sharing the joy of dixieland music with The Stompers.

Tony Brown-while earning his master's degree in bass trombone from the University of Southern Mississippi and playing gigs in New Orleans, Tony's love of all music has grown to include 25 seasons with the Paducah Symphony in Kentucky and 10 years with Captain Freddy and the River Cats. Well rounded in all styles of music he continues to share his passion for music in The Villages.
